Respiriva exists to bridge the gap between raw IHHT session data and meaningful clinical insights. We believe every therapist should have access to the same level of scientific analysis that was previously reserved for research institutions.

Our mission is to give IHHT practitioners the tools to understand their sessions deeply, track client progress with precision, and make data-driven decisions that lead to better outcomes.

Our Story

Built by a Practitioner Who Needed Better Tools

Respiriva was born out of frustration. As an IHHT practitioner, the founder experienced firsthand the challenge of working with session data: CSV exports that were difficult to interpret, no way to track progress across sessions, and hours spent on manual analysis.

The solution had to be something that automated the analysis, made the data visually accessible, and added intelligence through AI. Respiriva is the tool that was missing, built by someone who understands exactly what IHHT therapists need in their daily practice.

Respiriva is built on a robust technology stack designed for performance, security, and scalability. From the analysis engine to the user interface, every component is engineered for reliability.

The Stack Behind the Portal

The backend is powered by Laravel, providing a robust foundation for data processing, API management, and user authentication. The frontend uses React for a responsive and interactive user experience. AI integration connects to Claude, GPT, and Gemini for session assessments.

The Analysis Engine

The HRV analysis engine is built in Python, leveraging scientific computing libraries for accurate time domain, frequency domain (PSD Welch), and nonlinear analysis (DFA, Poincare). SpO2 phase detection uses custom algorithms optimized for IHHT session patterns.

Client health data is sensitive. We take privacy seriously with encrypted storage, strict access controls, and full compliance with data protection regulations.

Swiss Hosting

All data is hosted in Switzerland on servers subject to Swiss data protection law. No data leaves Swiss borders.
